Exciting News!!!

Our pastoral efforts this year (using the academic year – September 2019 to June 2020) will be guided by the theme “Hearts on Fire.” Jesus sets our hearts on fire with His love. Fanning the flame of love keeps the fire going. This is at the core of our faith life. We are in a living relationship with the Lord through baptism. Our Lady of Grace Parish will be offering different opportunities to accent this theme and help us to grow in our relationship with the Lord and each other in the communion we share. More information will follow in our bulletin, website, and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/olgparish). We hope this theme helps you to draw ever closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus this year and beyond!

Our current list of “Hearts on Fire” offerings is here!! Check out our 2-page flyer below and mark your calendars for the many exciting events and opportunities coming soon to Our Lady of Grace. More details about many of these events can be found below the flyer, and more will be posted as their dates approach. Additional events may be coming as well, so stay tuned! We cannot wait for the year ahead! See you there! 🙂

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

You can find more detailed information about our upcoming events and opportunities below! Stay tuned for continued updates!

Save the date for our Parish Mission, running from Sunday, October 13 to Wednesday, October 16! The four evening presentations will take place from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the church. The theme of the Mission is: “Time for God in a Busy World.” So many of us yearn for a deeper spiritual life, but how can we get there when countless other things demand our attention? During these 4 evenings in October, we will hear from and pray with Fr. John Graden, OSFS (Oblates of St. Francis de Sales) about this ever-pressing topic. Spread the word, and invite your friends!

This event is FREE and open to people of all ages (families encouraged!). You do not have to be a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace to attend, nor do you even need to be Catholic. This is a 4-night event, but you are welcome to come to just one, two, three, or all four of the nights – whatever fits your schedule best. Below is the list of topics for each night:

  • Sunday, October 13: “The Present – The Sacrament of the Present Moment”
  • Monday, October 14: “The Past – The Gift of Memory”
  • Tuesday, October 15: “The Future – Where Do We Go From Here?”
  • Wednesday, October 16: “Celebrating Christ’s Presence Now – The Eucharist”
