Exciting News!!!

Our pastoral efforts this year (using the academic year – September 2019 to June 2020) will be guided by the theme “Hearts on Fire.” Jesus sets our hearts on fire with His love. Fanning the flame of love keeps the fire going. This is at the core of our faith life. We are in a living relationship with the Lord through baptism. Our Lady of Grace Parish will be offering different opportunities to accent this theme and help us to grow in our relationship with the Lord and each other in the communion we share. More information will follow in our bulletin, website, and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/olgparish). We hope this theme helps you to draw ever closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus this year and beyond!

Our current list of “Hearts on Fire” offerings is here!! Check out our 2-page flyer below and mark your calendars for the many exciting events and opportunities coming soon to Our Lady of Grace. More details about many of these events can be found below the flyer, and more will be posted as their dates approach. Additional events may be coming as well, so stay tuned! We cannot wait for the year ahead! See you there! 🙂

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

You can find more detailed information about our upcoming events and opportunities below! Stay tuned for continued updates!

Do you find it easy to pray? Is prayer an integral part of your day? Do you hear God’s voice in your daily life, and know how to respond accordingly?
For many of us, the answer to these questions is, “no.” We all desire an intimate relationship with God. But, since learning to “say our prayers” as children, we never moved beyond rote recitation to an authentic conversation with God.

In this Oremus Bible Study, you will:
– Become aware of God’s presence in your life
– Discover the simple, yet profound steps of Catholic prayer
– Learn how to respond to God and express yourself in prayer
– Discover how to hear God’s voice in Scripture, in your heart, and in ordinary moments
– Learn how to overcome frustrations, distractions, and dryness in prayer
– See that desolation and consolation are a normal part of everyone’s walk with God
– Grow in your relationship with God and those around you
– And so much more!

Join us for this invaluable 8-week Bible Study! Registration forms are available at all entrances of the church. You can also sign up after all Masses on November 16 & 17. For more information, please contact Chris Flack at dre@olg1.org or 215-757-5530.
