Rise is Our Lady of Grace’s youth group for middle school teens (grades 6-8), and Ignite is our youth group for high school teens (grades 9-12). Rise seeks to teach and inspire young people to rise up and walk in the light of faith, while Ignite seeks to ignite an indistinguishable fire of faith in their hearts – so that young people of all ages may confidently and joyfully live as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, under the protection and guidance of our Blessed Mother, in a world that often leaves us longing for more. We want Rise and Ignite to allow pre-teens and teens to grow in healthy community with their neighbor, while they also grow in their personal relationship with Christ.
Both Rise and Ignite meet every other Sunday during the school year (please check this webpage for exact dates and times!). Meetings include faith discussion, games, free snacks, and time to hang out with other Catholic teens. Other events throughout the year have included: Holy Hours, Mass & breakfast, movie nights, bonfires, holiday parties, Mario Kart tournaments, picnics, trips, retreats, service opportunities, and so much more.
Join us for our next meeting! Any and all teens are welcome, whether you are a parishioner of OLG or not. Current flyers with time, location, and topic/event details will be posted below as the dates approach - please check back often for updates!
Please contact our Pastoral Associate, Maddie Appleby, with questions, to be added to our email list, or for more information at [email protected] or (215)-757-7700.
Join us on Sunday, December 8 at 12:30 PM in the OLG School Gym for the annual PREP Christmas Pageant! This is a sweet live retelling of Christ's birth by our PREP students, with festive carols sung throughout (you're encouraged to sing along!). The Pageant always puts everyone in the Advent spirit as we remember the reason for the season. After the Pageant is over, Youth Group members (grades 6-12) are invited to come over to our regular meeting room in the school (the St. John Neumann Room) for prayer, snacks, and games! Parents can pick up at 2:00 PM.
